I browsed that store on a number of occasions and I am in LOVE with their accessories.  If you are looking to freshen up your home for the spring, this is a great place to start!  This store screams “Fresh” (Smells That Way To). Might be the lovely soaps and candles..IMG 1025 300x200 Featuring: Blue Springs HomeIMG 1032 e1274903803756 300x200 Featuring: Blue Springs Home

Well my lucky self was able to get the scoop on this fabulous store!~Enjoy

What led you to open a fine linens and home store? I had previously had a county home store in Huntington Beach, Ca for 10 years and decided to move the store to the area of Costa Mesa, Ca.

How long have you been in business? I opened Blue Springs Home in 1998.

What are some of your favorite Brands that you carry? Bella Notte linens, Matteo, John Robshaw, Pine Cone Hill

John Robshaw Linens

What is your best selling product and why? The Bella Notte linen sheets.  The are cool, comfortable and come out of the wash looking great.  All the brands we carry are machine washable.  There are a couple of silk pillows that need dry cleaning, but we try to provide items that are easy to maintain…comfortable.

What is you favorite color? Gray, it is soothing and versatile.

What’s your best advice on making a home…a home? Make sure it is comfortable. Comfortable living is the key.  Things should be touched, felt and fun to the touch also.  Make it livable.

Your love of antiques, does it come from traveling? Absolutely! I love to travel to Europe.  I try to go every year.  It is so inspiring.

What is your favorite local place to eat? Beach Pit and Plums, we order those to the store all the time.

You have Romantic Homes coming to your home soon? Tell us about that.. I have been advertising in Romantic Homes for awhile and they have shot the store several times.  I was asked to have my home shot as well and now here I am…Its a mess right now, so much stuff to do, but they are coming and I am sure it will be fine.

Just like her character, calm and cool, Susan’s store…Blue Springs Home is a breath of fresh air!  Here are some of my favorite items from her store—-

You can visit Blue Springs Home on the web and read their blog.

"Interior Design is not just about picking colors and home furnishings. The design and remodeling process is very emotional and it is important that you connect with your designer. Whether you are renovating a whole home, remodeling a kitchen and bath, or just need design consulting, having strong resources and support are crucial to the final outcome of your home's interior. My goal is to alleviate the stress and provide you with a home."
